Personalized Party Favors For Kids Birthdays

The party is about to start and your birthday is certain to be a blast but one thing is often overlooked: the birthday banner. The inclusion of this minute detail might seem to be just that but lets face it, we have always been a society that craves that personal touch. In fact, personalized party favors for kids birthdays are sure to be a hit. There are many ways in which a host can integrate banners into the theme of the party but one all time favorite still remains to be the banner in which the guests are given the opportunity to leave behind lasting remarks.

Turning the birthday banner into a piece of memorabilia is easily accomplished through hanging the décor in an easily accessible place with a few permanent markers laying close by. Some considerations to make while preparing your banner should include the following:

the type of material and the color the display of the banner

The birthday banner material should be affordable, yet sturdy enough to stand the wear and tear of the party and some time after in storage. As in the case of most memorabilia, it is often put away after the even only to be viewed on occasion thereafter.

The color one chooses will have a great impact. If a host should decide to use a material of a darker color, it is imperative to supply markers in contrast to that. Often times hardware or craft stores sell quick drying paint pens which would provided the proper contrast. If money is of consideration however, it is best to have a light background that guests can write on with cost effective Sharpies.

Hanging the birthday banner is important also. It should not be too high or low and proper care should be given to the backing of the material at this time. Knowing that inks may bleed through the chosen material, one might consider an impermeable back drop of some kind.

Integrating the theme into your piece by personalizing the birthday banner is a great way to make the guest of honors birthday a memorable one. To make the part memorable for the guests, don't forget your personalized party favors for kids birthdays. A generic phrase to get writers started helps too.

Where I’ll be in fifty years… Why today isn’t just another day… Our favorite memory together was…

Encouraging everyone to be creative and have fun will make a wonderful added gift for the guest of honor to remember this time in their life.

Saint Patricks Day Themed Party Ideas

St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. Wherever there are Irish people there is St. Patrick. This holiday is celebrated all over the world. St. Patrick's Day is more than four leaf clovers, green beer, and shamrocks. Many of the stories traditionally associated with St. Patrick, including the famous account of his banishing all the snakes from Ireland, are false. It is known that St. Patrick was born in the end of the fourth century. During this time the Irish people were not Christians, but were Pagans. St. Patrick is believed to have died on March 17, around 460 A.D. At the age of sixteen, Patrick was taken prisoner by a group of Irish raiders who were attacking his family's estate. They transported him to Ireland where he spent six years in captivity. According to his writing, a voice (which he believed to be God's) spoke to him in a dream, telling him it was time to leave Ireland. Patrick reported that he experienced a second revelation, an angel in a dream told him to return to Ireland as a missionary. Soon after his ordination as a priest, he was sent to Ireland with a mission to convert the Irish to Christianity. It will be a fun celebration when you decide on your St Patricks day themed party ideas.
St. Patrick used bonfires to celebrate Easter since the Irish were used to honoring their gods with fire. He also superimposed a sun, a powerful Irish symbol, onto the Christian cross to create what is now called a Celtic cross. You will think of many different games, foods, and other fun things when you develop your Saint Patricks Day themed party ideas. Party supplies like paper plates, napkins, and cups are a perfect way to complete a St. Patrick's Day Party Theme. Party decorations like inflatables, and Shamrock door hangers add to the fun of a St. Patrick's Day Party Theme. Loot bags filled with candy tucked in basket can be used as a centerpiece and double as an office prizes. Party favors like green lunch boxes, hats, noisemakers, party poppers, and confetti makes an exceptional St. Patrick's Day Party Theme.

Go Diego Go-The Brainy Kids Party

Go Diego Go is a Nick Jr. Show that features Diego Marquez as the lead character. Diego was introduced to his preschool audience as an occasional character on his cousin’s show, Dora the Explorer. In Go Diego Go, Diego, like Dora, is an 8 year old who has a great love and appreciation of nature and the animals that live within it. It is this love of animals that normally starts the adventurous situation of each Go Diego Go episode.

Go Diego Go almost always has Diego helping to rescue an animal in trouble. To do this, Diego must use scientific method, including observational skills (and always some help from his viewing audience) to complete the rescue. Go Diego Go teaches the viewing audience about animals of all types. You can find decorations to match your theme when you shop for your Go Diego Go party supplies. The viewers learn things like sounds, habitat, family, physical characteristics and even diet preferences about the animals Diego rescues. Go Diego Go also teaches young viewers to recognize similarities and differences as well as some Spanish words and phrases.

All of these things that Go Diego Go teaches the children who watch the show, also work as excellent focuses for a Go Diego Go Theme Party. For example, since Go Diego Go encourages a love of science, biology and puzzles, a Go Diego Go party naturally should include animals or scavenger hunts. For one game, pass out pictures of animals to each guest. At least three will have the same animal (i.e. elephant, chimp, tiger, giraffe, etc.) Tell the children not so show anyone else what animal they have. Then, have the children all being to act out what animal they are. As they act out - the children should watch to see who is acting similarly . Then, the children that have the same animal should try to find each other. First time to figure out who all their team members are – wins. Or, if the guests are older, consider a scavenger hunt where teams of guests are given a pictures of an animal and they have to search around to find pictures of other characteristics of that animal. Each animal could have a different color of paper as an additional clue of what animal characteristics would go together.

Other games could include animal relays. For example try a centipede run where all guests are divided into two teams. The teams line up with everyone holding the person in front of them around the waist. Have the teams then run around a small obstacle course track without breaking apart. Be ready for lots of giggles as they teams try hard not to break apart. Don't forget to buy prizes for these relays as you purchase your Go Diego Go party supplies. Then of course they can bear crawl, or crab walk another leg to make it even harder or sillier depending on how much energy the party guests have.
