Halloween Party Haunted House
Creating a Halloween Party Haunted House is as adventuresome as scaring the kids once it is finished. The first step is to organize your thoughts by writing ideas down for a story behind the haunted house(of course this is not needed for a few props in your yard but a strong story can help large and small haunted houses.) In the entertainment industry, there is a story behind each attraction. If you write a short scary story about some event that happened in the past - i.e. Indian grave yard under your house, family murdered or whatever, you can base all your props, sounds and scary things off of this story. Now you don't have to tell the story to your trick or treaters to create a better haunted house, just use the story as a blue print to the haunted house. Don't put things in your yard that don't have meaning to your story. If you did have an Indian grave yard under your home you probably would not have vampires running around right? Unless of course, they were in the story too. Give out Halloween Favors to all your guests. Glow Sticks are great favors to give at a haunted house.
