Yu-Gi-Oh Party Ideas

The Yu-Gi-Oh manga, created in 1996 by Kazuki Takahashi, was one of the most popular titles featured in Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump and is nearing the end of its run in the weekly manga anthology. The anime was first broadcast beginning in 1998 on Asahi TV and after 150 episodes; it moved to TV Tokyo and has recently aired the 200th episode. The name Yu-Gi-Oh comes from Japanese, yûgiô, yuugiou in Romaji, Japanese word for the "King of Games. The game involves characters who play a card game called "Duel Monsters. Our hero, Yu-Gi-Oh, is a champion card-gamer and international star. The show takes place in an alternate universe where people who excel at card games are given fame and prestige. Yu-Gi-Oh has magical help to win card games. He's possessed by the spirit of an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh while he plays. The card game is the modern-day continuation of the mystical "Shadow Games," which involved spooky dueling monsters. These games are confined to virtual dueling arenas, where Yu-Gi-Oh /Pharaoh often squares off against Seto Kaiba, a billionaire who squanders his vast fortune trying to beat our hero. Yu-Gi-Oh party supplies like paper plates, napkins, and cups are a nice way to complete a Party Theme. Yu-Gi-Oh Party decorations using Yu-Gi-Oh balloon centerpiece, can also double as party prizes. Party favors like Yu-Gi-Oh stickers or cards fit a Yu-Gi-Oh Party Theme.
